Our regular service is held Sunday's at 4:15 pm. Bible class and Sunday school for the younger children follow the service. Older children are invited to attend the Bible class. On Easter Sunday, a late Brunch will follow Easter Festival Worship.
The following evening services are held at 7:30 pm: Wednesdays during Advent, Epiphany, Ash Wednesday and following Wednesdays through Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Ascension, and Reformation Day.
We hold a Christmas Eve service at 6:30 pm.
If Epiphany or Reformation Day falls on a Saturday or Monday, those evening services are not held, but are celebrated on Sunday morning instead.
We celebrate the Lord's Supper every Sunday and on the festival days of Christmas, Epiphany, Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday. We believe that Christ has not ordained that the Supper be celebrated at any set time. Other congregations of our fellowship follow different communion schedules.
Augustana observes the historic and orthodox practice of close communion. If individuals visiting from one of our sister congregations wish to commune with us, they should bring a letter from their pastor, or should have their pastorPastor King in advance.
